After the death of my father in 2004, I found I not only lost my Dad, but my partner in business and my best friend. Words, in no way describe the empty feeling I get when I think of him, but a warm feeling comes when I realize where he went, till we meet again. I sure do miss him.
As a kid growing up, I got a lot of kidding whenever roll was called on the first day of school, about my middle name. Dad never told me why my middle name was Badger and that didn't really matter then, as it doesn't really matter now. Simply put, I was just RBC JR, and proud of it.
When I looked to the past, I was inspired by and amazed of the similar interests, values and priorities of the one's that came before me. I guess if I did know more at a younger age, things might have been different, to that point, I am glad I didn't know because growing up in Dads shadow taught me more about life and business than most could gain from any college or service.
For that I am very grateful. RBC JR <><
